ask yourself the question "do i have the kind of personality that is attracted to a strong person or entity that speaks with authority, and is very assertive?".
most of us just want to follow the leader.
it makes us feel protected and secure.
I think it's just taking the easy road out. I was raised in it and never given the opportunity to decide what I liked or disliked, it was always told to me. When I became 18 I was out. It was because I decided one night that I am not going to the kh anymore if I don't really feel it. I went to the mall that night because that is what I wanted to do. That night I met my husband and we have been together for almost 11 years now. It's amazing how the universe opens up to you when you make a change.
Jesus Christ taught unification, not separation. You cannot serve two masters; love and hate do not correlate. It is better to love another then fight. This was the teaching of Christ. That is all a person needs to learn, besides how to survive in a wicked world. Do not let any person judge you, as Jehovah God will always be with those that seek His interests. The Kingdom of God will accomplish unity of all nations.

Truth...
There have been many posters like you. You were asked a simple question and you chose to obfusicate, avoid answering, and being opaque in your responses. A simple question deserves a simple answer. He didn't ask you the meaning of the universe. He asked you if you were a baptised person in good standing according to JW dogma. You full well know what that means, so KNOCK IT OFF !
Sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me. Your words can not jump off the screen and twist my arm can they? Do not think that you can dictate to me my way of teaching, thank you very much. Take a chill pill, relax and take some sominex. This is good advice, not a command.

Uh uh. Please tell all in your comgregation what you've said here. They'll kick you out quicker than Satan got thrown out of heaven!
Too funny. I understand what you are saying as far as the strict teachings of the W.T.S. Do not feel bad if you do not attend their meetings or go out in field service with a bad conscience. A person can easily disprove many teachings from all religions. If you choose to belong to their congregations, then do so and do not advance further than necessary. It is always good to associate yourself with others, but not if it bothers your conscience. By the way baptism is a spiritual cleansing, and water submersion is symbolic of this. You cannot be baptised, yet continue to practice what is bad for your spirit, or inner strength. I am baptised by the standards of Jehovah God, not mans.

I assume you are baptized and not df'd or disassociated. That being said, you must be a covert JW, one that cannot say the things you say here. Hence you are not a real JW. Otherwise you'd be df'd (and not here).
If you learn the simple way of life that Jesus taught and teach it to the ones you love, you then become a witness of Jehovah. Jesus Christ is the Faithful and True Witness. He never attended a single congregational meeting and never reported his time on his walk upon the earth. If you use this same logic as they use with people of the nations, then Christ would not be eligible for eternal life. I am a Witness of Jehovah in spirit and truth. Not by some mans doctrine.

Like I said you're not a JW. If you presently a baptized member, please say so.
You seem to know the scriptures well. What does it mean when it says not to trust in man for your salvation? An old man in Cuba for example that has never been in the materialistic world like in the West, will not lose his life if he has never seen the inside of a kingdom hall. A person cannot tell another that they will lose their life if they do not agree. Use your heart in this matter. Spirit and Truth comes from the heart, and not from another mans teaching. I am baptized.

A real JW cannot think that some parts of JWism is good and some parts not.
You're thinking like the organization, not like GOD. If they choose to DF a person than they set themselves up as judges do they not? Jesus Christ did not teach this. In other words, if you feel like supporting the organization, than do so. If not GOD will not mind if you still Love GOD. Do you understand this? All congregations, all peoples, including all races belong to their maker Jehovah, not to the W.T.S.

Why do you say this?

Truth or Lie,Many on this forum are here to teach. Many are also still looking for answers to life's questions, and they didn't find it inside the WTS, even though there was a time they thought they did. But there are other reasons as well: To share the experiences they have gone thru as a JW, and what happened when they left or were kicked out, either voluntarily or involuntarily. Perhaps with most of us, it's a little of everything. It's better than hiding your light under a bushel.

I see, kinda like a group session, except with typed words. But if they shun you, why do people hate them in return? Just let them learn what it feels like when they need your love in return. I suggest just turning the other cheek without getting mad back. I see many harsh words in anger on this forum. Not too healthy for unity sake.
i just wanted to make sure you all knew that.
Yeah whatever, Truth. We're still here right now. That's all I know.
Back at you bro
